Full Moon in Scorpio: The Heart Break Pink Moon Report

The Scorpio Heart Break Pink Moon

by DeAriesha Mack aka Astrodeestars

Getting ready for the water waves because this full Moon will bring on some harsh tides. The Moon reaches its fullness in the sign of Scorpio at 7 degrees on April 26.

Many will recognize it as the Pink Moon in the Farmers almanac because it represents the first full Moon in Spring where pretty flowers bloom.  Many already know Full moons mean when the cup is complete and pour out what’s no longer needed. It’s the concluding results of situations and relationships. We feel the Moon a couple days before as well as a couple days after, and its effects can last for months.

Everyone will feel the Full Moon effects differently depending on what house the sign of Scorpio rules in their chart. While the name ‘Pink Moon” is lovely, this Moon still comes with a hefty punch. I call this Moon “Scorpio Pink for Broken hearts.”

The energy of the beautiful phoenix has a bad wrap, but that’s the point. Scorpio is all about perceived bad reputations and the scandalous. The sign rules what is uncomfortable unspoken, and purposefully tucked away. When there’s a Full moon in this sign, a deep psychological, emotional and physical purging MUST be done. I almost think it happens whether we want it to or not.

There is a leaking of energy that occurs around this time. We all have Scorpio somewhere in our charts, and this is where the release will begin to appear under this Moon. The taboo secrets wed rather not deal with come spilling out. They could come through a compulsive series of texts from buried animosities or an ended friendship due to the exposure of deceit. The Scorpionic energy is just what we need to get to the path of recovery from Trauma.

This is one of the BEST times to detox due to Pluto going Retrograde at 26 degrees Capricorn on this same day. The Universe is doing a deep, deep cleaning for this year. Saturn and Pluto both represent garbage and toxins, and they are both in contact with this Moon. Many will be taking out their trash within and without, with lots of relationships ending.

To be completely honest, in my experience, when it comes to Pluto or Scorpio, there is always this, “I thought I was gonna die” feeling right after. I know that’s dramatic, but it’s the best way I can think of to describe dealing with that energy. On a broad scale, the people (Moon) want to cleanse and transcend to another level.

The old dusty skeletons begin to fall out of the closet, and there is a near-death experience of the ego happening. To start, we must find ways to become unstuck in a rut of our emotions. Letting go of grudges and letting in the ability to forgive so that one doesn’t become emotionally constipated should be goals right now. The Moon does not like being in this fixed dark sign of Scorpio. Its safety and security is threatened. It becomes paranoid extreme and in its reactions, behaviors, and attitudes. Many will have a strong stance on topics of life, death, and sex.

These topics have a way of bringing us to our knees in pain to bring great change. There’s a need to rebirth how we see our unresolved issues.

While our emotions may seem turbulent many can reach some heavy psychological breakdowns and or breakthroughs. It’s crucial how one handles the pressure that can come from this Moon and keep their cool. The Moon is in a rough spot being challenged in Opposition to Uranus, Venus, Sun, and Mercury. Even Saturn and Pluto are giving this Moon in Scorpio the worst time.  Saturn is squaring both Venus and this Moon around this time bringing depression into people along with illness. This square of Saturn and Venus is why I mentioned heartbreak earlier. Women must take the utmost care of themselves as they may be targets or triggers of hard lessons. Broken contracts and love relationships coming to deep commitments or death.

Financial markets aren’t the greatest either for those that are into trading and stocks. This is a week to be very careful spreading or catching illnesses due to low immune systems. Issues may come up in the News about women and violence. There could be an end to mysteries involving deaths of those involved or connected to the science field. A type of revelation exposed on secrets in the world of science and technology are discovered. This Full moon energy calls for a great deal of patience to go slowly before acting on one’s intense emotions. Taking the time to look at what’s ugly or nasty to shower it with love and peace can be the battle.

Many will face their final struggles with power figures to come to a settlement of who’s the winner at the end of the day. Shaking off the Manipulation starts with looking to Jupiter’s energy and educating oneself. Challenge what those say we must believe. Use Mars in Cancer to stand up for the people who need care and focus on gentleness.  Mars in Cancer is in Harmony with this Moon, so strategy when expressing one’s anger will be the light at the end of the tunnel. Jupiter is also here, so the idea that one must have faith(Jupiter) in the future (Aquarius).

This is the energy we can look to help deal with the heaviness of the full Moon. Use higher education and knowledge, and high morals to get to the bottom of scandals’ mysteries and let Mars give you the courage to push through the tears in Cancer. Stay completely focused, providing the care of yourself and others, with love Astro dee stars.

Full Moon at 7° Scorpio

April 26th @ 11:32pm EST/8:32pm PST

By Andrea Dupuis

This week’s Full Moon is in the sign of Scorpio, at its fall – which means it’s not in it’s happy place. With the Moon in it’s fall position we can expect more challenging emotions and events to arise.

Scorpio is traditionally ruled by the planet Mars – the planet of agitation, aggression, ambition, drive and force. The energy of Mars conflicts with the soft, gentle and motherly nature of the Moon. These two together can create some powerful intense energies.

Scorpio is also the sign of death, rebirth and deep transformation and so is it’s modern co-ruler, Pluto. It’s time to finally TRANSFORM and alchemize old patterns that are holding you back. This is a great opportunity to look within at our own inner world and make the adjustments we need to make.

Mars was the Roman God of War both internal and external. The deeper war we’re facing in modern times is the inner war. The war between love and fear, light and dark, soul and ego. All of the dualities. Use this Full Moon to focus on your internal ‘battlefield’. It’s here we purify by letting go of that which no longer serves you.

USE this energy to ‘battle’ what you no longer want in your life. It’s a great time to release old patterns, and to let yourself FEEL completely whatever arises.

Scorpio energy is a lot like a river rushing under a sheet of ice – the water is there constantly flowing, and though we may not see it below the surface until we crack the ice. The emotions are all there under the surface, and this week the metaphorical ice can crack.

We begin the Scorpionic process of alchemy by turning the painful emotion into something positive and helpful on our journey.

For example, if we feel deep pain about a relationship ending, we can use the pain to propel us forward onto a new path where we have deeper love and respect for self. Within every pain is the opportunity for a deep transformation. Tune into the transformative power of your emotions this week and allow yourself to release whatever comes up.

It’s not uncommon to feel deeply around a Full Moon, or to have wild and vivid dreams, to go into a dark night of the soul. The Full Moon is here to amplify anything unconscious (The Moon) by bringing light (The Sun) to it. The two luminaries are in opposition so this illumination can feel tense.

And this one will certainly be amplified with the Moon in opposition to Uranus, Venus, Mercury and the Sun. The closest opposition point is with Uranus, so we can see unexpected changes occur this week. Out of the ordinary and surprising revelations can come out of nowhere!

This Full Moon is also in a hard aspect to Saturn – The “lord of karma” so many karmic events can arise for the next couple weeks. The Full Moon is intended to help us step up in our lives, to allow the transformation to happen while taking responsibility for ourselves. When Saturn is in the mix, we can feel repressed and held back.

How this Full Moon impacts you depends where Scorpio is in your natal chart. Look at your rising sign below to see where this Full Moon takes place.

Overall this is a very intense and transformational Full Moon which can bring big internal and external shifts, changes and unexpected events.

Fire Burning Ceremony For Releasing

(Do this under the bright light of the moon if you can)

Prep: Have a pen, paper, glass or metal container filled with water and tweezers on hand.

  1. Cleanse and purify your space by burning rosemary, bayleaf, cedar, sage or any herbs related to your heritage.
  2. Take some time to meditate by listening to some music, using a mantra, do breathwork or a guided visualization – anything that works to get you into a meditative space. You can sit at your alter, outside or just somewhere in your home that feels good to you.
  3. Close your eyes and feel deep into your heart – don’t rush this process, really feel into it
  4. When you feel ready to write down anything in your life you feel ready to let go of. It can be names of people you want to cut chords with, patterns, old hurts. Space them out so you can cut them up to burn. You may have several listed on the page.
  5. Rip or cut up the words you wrote into separate pieces. Fold each one up individually and burn over the container of water (using the tweezers so you don’t burn your fingers)  As the burns really imagine letting it go. I’ve noticed the ones we’re the most afraid to let go of don’t burn as fast!
  6. Thank the fire for helping you let go and transmute and close the space.
  7. After you’ve done the fire burning, cleanse yourself in water  – have a bath with rose petals, salts, crystals, feel the energy of this issue, pattern, person, whatever it is really drain from your system as the water drains. You can have a simple shower instead, just envision it all draining and you starting fresh.
  8. Put on some nice fun dancey music
  9. Dance in the moonlight! Celebrate the newness you’ve created by letting go
