The March 29 Solar Eclipse in Aries is here to disrupt your comfort zone and awaken your truth.

This is the final eclipse in the Aries and Libra cycle that has been reshaping your relationship patterns since 2023.

This isn’t just cosmic, it feels personal and at times the energy can feel uprooting and disorienting. Ride the waves and know that whatever is coming apart is a reorienting toward deeper alignment and truth in your life and beyond.

In love:
You may feel the urge to reclaim your independence or finally speak the needs you’ve been silencing to keep the peace.
It’s time to stop shrinking to fit love that cannot hold all of you.

In friendship:
Expect clarity. You will see who fuels your growth and who drains it.
Only reciprocal energy will feel safe to stay.

Financially:
Old ways of earning that no longer align with your values or your voice may fall away or demand to be rebuilt.
Trust the shift. A more aligned path is making itself known.

Spiritually:
This is an invitation to come back to yourself. To lead your life from instinct, courage, and clarity.
Not everyone will understand. That’s okay.

This eclipse brings a karmic chapter to a close and opens the door to something real and new.

Get radically honest.
Get courageous.
Get clear.

The next version of your life begins when you stop pretending you’re fine with the one you’ve outgrown…

The New Moon Eclipse in Aries arrives like a spark born from darkness, a bold and fiery reset that is calling us to reclaim our will, our voice, and our right to step into our passion and drive. Aries is the archetype who dares to begin before knowing how it will unfold.

This New Moon is not just another lunar cycle, it’s a cosmic ignition that is inviting us to awaken parts of ourselves that have been buried, silenced, or simply waiting for the ‘right moment’ to emerge.

What makes this New Moon even more electric is that it coincides with Mercury retrograding back into 0° of Aries signalling a rare and potent moment for rewriting identity, reworking self-expression, and reclaiming independence from old versions of ourselves.

Venus’ conjunction with the North Node in Pisces is summoning pivotal shifts in love, creativity, and connection, while Lilith at 0° of Scorpio awakens something deeper; our raw, unapologetic feminine power, and the instinctual self that refuses to be tamed. Together, this is a cosmic call to rise.

This Aries New Moon is not simply about starting something new, it’s about allowing us to claim our voices and rise into our  becoming. Here we are reminded that our desires are sacred, our voices matter, and our true instincts are meant to be trusted.

The fire of Aries burns away hesitation, inviting us to walk forward; not perfectly, not with all the answers, but with courage and conviction to jump in with both feet…

 Prominent Themes:

The Portal of the Partial Solar Eclipse:

The eclipse is a karmic turning point, bringing sudden shifts in self-identity that may leave us questioning who we thought we were and where we are meant to go. What once felt certain may no longer align, as new beginnings unfold in divinely orchestrated ways.

This eclipse is a call to lean into our courage, dissolving hesitation and excuses, urging us to step forward boldly into the unknown. Within the archetypal themes of this eclipse, love, creativity, and spiritual destiny are woven into this moment, reminding us that fate often works in ways we cannot always see.

The path ahead may not be entirely clear, but this lunation asks us to trust ourselves and surrender outdated fears by taking the first step with unwavering faith.

Rewriting Self-Concept & Re-Relating to Identity:

The Aries New Moon is already a potent initiation portal, a moment where we are called to act on instinct, take risks, and claim a new direction.

With Mercury retrograding to 0° Aries, there is an extra layer added. It’s as if the cosmos is saying: “Before starting again, pause. Look back. Consider the lessons and that which is still present within.” Here, we must consider which parts of our voice, our truth, our identity are ready to be reclaimed.

Instead of moving full speed ahead, Mercury’s position  is asking us to revisit, rewrite, rewire, and reassert who we are, on our own terms.

Love, Fate & The Heart’s True Calling:

Under this New Moon, Venus is simultaneously aligning with the North Node in Pisces, creating a powerful energetic undercurrent that draws us toward fated experiences, soul-aligned desires, and karmic shifts in love and our destiny.

The North Node represents where we are meant to grow, the lessons we are destined to embrace, and the direction our soul is calling us toward.

In a world that often glorifies chasing, striving, and forcing outcomes, Venus conjunct the North Node in Pisces (during the Aries New Moon) offers a very different message: some things are meant to unfold naturally, not fought for.

Some opportunities, relationships, and breakthroughs arrive not because we chase them, but because we create space for them to find us. This isn’t about passivity, it’s about trusting that when we align with our deepest self, the right doors open, the right people appear, and the right timing reveals itself.

Under this New Moon, there is nothing to prove, nothing to fight for, just a quiet knowing that what is meant for us is already making its way toward us. The only thing we have to do is say yes.

Awakening the Wild Feminine:

With Lilith sitting at 0° Scorpio during this Aries New Moon, we are being called to bridge instinct with refinement, raw truth with discernment, and rebellion with integration.

Lilith represents the untamed feminine; the part of us that refuses to be silenced, suppressed, or molded to fit societal expectations.  Aries is, also, a force of unapologetic willpower, a sign that acts without seeking permission.

With this particular placement, Scorpio is inviting us to consider where we have been over-policing ourselves, over-critiquing our instincts, and trying to make our innate wildness more “acceptable” or digestible to others.

This New Moon invites a reclamation; not just of action, but of autonomy over our own bodies, desires, and choices.

Lilith at 0° Scorpio signals a purification of shame, a moment to release the conditioning that tells us we must be smaller, quieter, or more “reasonable” to be worthy.  Aries lights the fire of rebellion, and Scorpio ensures that it is precise, intentional, and directed toward something meaningful.

This is an awakening of self-sovereignty, and an initiation into owning every part of who we are: unfiltered, untamed, and unapologetic.

New Moon Activations:

  • Journal on what you need to rewrite about your self-perception. What old beliefs about yourself are you ready to release?
  • Pay attention to who or what is entering your life at this time. What feels like destiny calling? What is your heart whispering to you?
  • Practice body sovereignty. Consider how your body responds to certain people, decisions, or situations. Reflect on the ways your instincts are speaking.

Who This New Moon Impacts Most?

  • Aries, Libra, Cancer, Capricorn (Cardinal Signs Sun/Moon/Rising): The Cardinal signs are at the forefront of change during this New Moon. Aries leads the charge, while Libra, Cancer, and Capricorn navigate tension between self and others.
  • Pisces & Virgo (Sun/Moon/Rising): With Venus conjunct the North Node in Pisces, these signs feel the pull of destiny and deep feminine transformation.
  • Leo & Sagittarius (Sun/Moon/Rising): This New Moon is sparking a time to act, create, and step into a next evolution. Whether it’s a personal rebirth, an expansion of purpose, or a reignition of joy, it’s time to stop waiting and start living. The fire within is the only permission we need.

Reflections & Contemplations:

  • Where have I been holding back my voice, my truth, or my desires out of fear of being “too much” or “not enough”?
  • If I fully trusted myself, what bold decision would I make today?
  • What beliefs about who I am need to be rewritten? Where have I outgrown an old version of myself?
  • Am I speaking my truth with courage, or am I still filtering my words to keep the peace or to gain acceptance?
  • Where am I still playing small or policing myself to fit expectations that aren’t truly mine?
  • What parts of me feel wild, untamed, or “too much”? How can I embrace them fully?
  • How has self-criticism or perfectionism stopped me from trusting my instincts?
  • What does true self-sovereignty look like in my daily life?
  • If I stripped away all expectations, fears, and past conditioning, who am I truly?
  • What am I ready to leave behind, and what am I ready to claim?

Aries New Moon Ritual

A ritual can be a fun way to connect with cosmic energy, while it is not required, it can offer such a luscious way to connect with ourselves and the themes of this energetic event.

Here is a simple ritual you might want to try, feel free to adjust it as you are inspired to:

What You’ll Need:

  • A black candle – for releasing fear & past limitations;
  • A red or orange – for activating courage & passion;
  • A fire safe bowl of water with a pinch of salt (symbolizing purification & surrender);
  • A piece of paper & pen;
  • A small mirror;
  • A way to light the candle (matches/lighter).

Step 1: Find a quiet, private place where you can be in your own essence and energy. Safely light both candles and place them in front of you, with the bowl of water in between them;  symbolizing the balance between fire and water.

Step 2: Take a deep breath, close your eyes, and visualize a sphere of fire surrounding you; an energy of strength, confidence, and fierce self-trust. Imagine this fire burning away any fear, hesitation, or external expectations that have kept you from stepping fully into your truth.

Step 3: On the piece of paper, write down any limiting beliefs, self-doubts, or fears that are holding you back from stepping into your fullest expression. Take your time, and be radically honest with yourself. When you’re done, carefully burn the paper over the black candle’s flame and say: “I release the fears and doubts that have dimmed my fire. I am no longer bound by past versions of myself. I burn away what no longer serves me.”

Immediately and safely place the paper in the bowl of water and let it dissolve for a moment. Feel the weight of these beliefs leaving your body.

Step 4: When you’re ready, take a new piece of paper and write down exactly what you are stepping into. What do you desire? What do you choose for yourself in this new chapter?

Once written, carefully and without burning it, hold the paper over the red candle’s flame and whisper these words into the fire: “I call upon my inner fire. I ignite my courage. I trust my path. My time is now.”

Step 5: Take your mirror and look into your own eyes. See yourself clearly; not as you’ve been, but as you are becoming. Speak words of power and affirmation to yourself, aloud if possible:

  • “I am ready.”
  • “I trust myself completely.”
  • “I am bold, sovereign, and free.”
  • “I step into my power with confidence and ease.”
  • “My desires are sacred, and I honor them fully.”

Let this moment anchor your new identity into your being. You are no longer waiting. You are here. You are ready.

Step 6: Take the paper with your intentions and place it somewhere you can see it/feel it (i.e. fridge,  under your pillow, on an altar, or in your journal.) Let it serve as a reminder of this moment right here, right now. Snuff the candles, thanking the fire for its guidance and clarity. Pour the water into the earth or down the drain as a symbol of fully releasing the past. Take a deep breath and feel the shift.
